Astrobiology for the Incarcerated

In 2016, the INSPIRE program began a collaboration with NASA’s Astrobiology program. Since that date, NASA has visited prisons and Youth-in-Custody facilities in Utah, Washington, Ohio, and Florida to deliver lectures about the Astrobiology mission, as well as engage with inmates and youth in detention. This partnership is ongoing.
