Monteverde Conservation Film Festival

Co-founded by Nalini Nadkarni, the Monteverde Conservation Film Festival (MCFF) focuses on bringing conservation films to Monteverde, Costa Rica. Monteverde is a nexus of remarkable conservation, education, and community-based actions to protect biodiversity, enhance ecosystem health, and promote sustainability. The festival aims to harness the power of film to highlight these special qualities of the region, and to share them with its residents and visitors.

The creation of the MCFF extends existing efforts to disseminate short, documentary, conservation-oriented films through collaboration with Mountainfilm On Tour, based in Telluride, Colorado, USA.
